Jakarta - Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said that the city of Jakarta plays an important role in forming tourists' first impressions of Indonesia during their visit.
“As one of the main gateways for foreign tourists, Jakarta has an important role in providing a first impression of Indonesia,” Widiyanti said at a press conference on “Wisdom in the Old Town: A Lunar Celebration” in Jakarta, Monday.
Widiyanti said that Jakarta City has gone through a long journey from time to time. The developments that have occurred do not only include changes in name to the status of the region, but also developments in all aspects of people's lives, including increasingly advanced and integrated transportation access.
