Houthis ready to 'attack Israel' if Gaza Strip attacks again

Tehran - Yemen's Ansarullah movement, or Houthi, stressed that it is ready to act against Israel if Tel Aviv launches another military attack on the Gaza Strip and violates the ceasefire agreement.

"Our finger is on the trigger, and we are ready to respond immediately if the Zionist regime intensifies its attacks on Gaza," Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi said in a televised broadcast on Tuesday.

He warned that regardless of the extent of US support, Israel would face security, military and economic consequences if the conflict escalated again.

Israel's new invasion of Gaza will certainly not be easy for Zionist regime leader Benjamin Netanyahu, al-Houthi said.

The Houthi leader also slammed US President Donald Trump's plan to forcibly expel Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, which he called a "destructive and aggressive project" aimed at seizing Palestinian land from Muslims.

According to him, the plan will not end with the annexation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but will also continue with the annexation of Mecca and Medina.
