Jakarta - Deputy for Creativity, Culture and Design at the Ministry of Creative Economy Yuke Sri Rahayu said that the government supports efforts to develop the halal cosmetics industry.

At the opening of Wardah Colourverse in Senayan City, Jakarta, on Friday, Yuke said that Indonesia has the potential to become the world's leading halal beauty industry center.

"We believe that with collaboration between industry players, government and society, Indonesia can become the world's leading halal beauty industry center," he said.

Yuke appreciates the efforts of Indonesian halal beauty product industry players such as Wardah in presenting innovation.

He also appreciated the implementation of Wardah Colourverse 2025, which presents the use of artificial intelligence and color analysis to help determine makeup colors that match the user's skin tone and personality.

"This event not only showcases the scientific or artistic side of Wardah but also combines beauty with fashion technology and art," said Yuke.

"And through personal color and workshops , this event certainly provides knowledge and inspiration for Indonesian women to determine the color that best reflects their personality and lifestyle," he added.

According to him, the beauty event is in line with the government's mission in developing creative economic businesses as one of the pillars of national economic growth.

He mentioned Wardah as an example of a creative economic business that could contribute to national economic growth.

According to him, events like Wardah Colourverse can be an inspiration for other beauty industry players to continue to create and innovate and contribute to economic growth.
