Jakarta - The government continues to study the development of domestically produced electric vehicles, one of which is by making the Maung tactical car produced by PT Pindad a national electric vehicle.
This was stated by the Minister of Investment and Downstream/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Thursday, after attending a limited meeting with President Prabowo Subianto.
"We already have Maung, maybe there will be further developments, later we will talk, we will work on it further," said Rosan.
The limited meeting discussing strategies to strengthen investment in the development of the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia involved a number of related parties.
Present at the agenda were among others the Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, the President Director of PT Pindad (Persero) Prof. Sigit Puji Santoso, Professor of the Bandung Institute of Technology Prof. Brian Yuliarto, and the Deputy President Director of PT TBS Energi Tbk Pandu Patria Sjahrir.
