Jakarta - Men face greater challenges when it comes to skin care due to higher oil production, thicker texture and daily exposure to pollution.
As written on the Hindustan Times page, Wednesday (19/2), the right skincare routine does not need to be complicated because several main steps can make a real difference to skin health, including cleansing, sun protection, and hydration.
"As many as seven out of 10 men believe that simply washing your face with water is enough for skin care, but that is far from the truth. Throughout the day, dirt, oil, and pollution clog your pores, leading to acne and dull skin. Hence, choosing the right face wash is important as it is the foundation of your skin care routine," says Neha Gupta, MD at Alite Skincare.
For men with oily or acne-prone skin, dermatologists recommend cleansers with charcoal or salicylic acid, ingredients that help detoxify and unclog pores.
