Jakarta - The European Union said its law enforcement agencies could ban the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology that is deemed to have the potential to cause harm or unacceptable risks.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Monday, the deadline for the first phase of compliance with the EU AI Act is February 2. This law is an AI regulatory framework that was finally approved by the European Parliament in March last year after years of discussion.
In general, these laws are designed to regulate a wide range of AI use cases and their interactions with individuals, from impacts on consumer applications to the environment.
