Jakarta - Pediatrician from the University of Indonesia, Dr. Ria Yoanita Sp.A said schools play a role in taking preventive measures against the spread of disease in students if indications of disease are found during free health checks (CKG).
"Schools and teachers need to take action to prevent the spread of the disease and ensure students get the right treatment," Ria told ANTARA on Tuesday.
Ria said that the steps that teachers or schools can take if they find a child with certain health indications is to give the sick student a rest period so that they do not transmit the disease to other friends.
