Tangerang - PT Bank Central Asia estimates that special credit for electric vehicles this year will increase by five to 10 percent from the total credit value release of IDR 40 trillion.
"We see an increasing trend for this year regarding electric vehicle credit. It is estimated that there will be a 10 percent increase in the value of the credit we release," said BCA Finance Director Petrus S Karim at the BCA Expoversary event held at ICE BSD Tangerang, Thursday.
He said the growth was because currently public interest in electric vehicles for cars and motorbikes was starting to increase, although he acknowledged that there were many considerations.
