Jakarta - Technology company Apple is reportedly collaborating with Alibaba to bring the artificial intelligence (AI) platform Apple Intelligence to China.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Wednesday, this collaboration was formed after the iPhone manufacturer rejected potential collaboration plans with Chinese AI startup DeepSeek and TikTok's parent company, ByteDance .
It is known that according to the provisions in China, the provision of generative AI services must obtain approval from the government before being released to the public. Therefore, Apple must find a local partner to present AI features on its products sold in China.
