Jakarta - Several roads in DKI Jakarta were submerged in floodwaters reaching 50 centimeters high, causing several motorized vehicles to be unable to pass.
Based on the report of TMC Polda Metro Jaya on page X, flooding occurred at the Podomoro intersection towards Sunter, North Jakarta with a water level of around 40 to 50 centimeters. In the video uploaded to the account, a number of motorbikes broke down while crossing the flooded puddles.
TMC Polda Metro Jaya also reported that flooding occurred in Daan Mogot, precisely in front of the Samala Hotel, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. The water level was reported to be around 30 to 40 centimeters.
"The water level is around 30 to 40 cm and can be passed on the busway lane, but the arterial lane for motorbikes can only be pushed," wrote the account.
Flooding was also reported in front of Trisakti Campus on Jl. Kyai Tapa, Grogol, West Jakarta, leading to Tomang. Traffic was observed to be dense due to the flood.
In addition to flooding, rainy weather accompanied by strong winds also caused trees to fall on Jalan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta, precisely in front of the Ministry of Defense Office.
The handling of the fallen tree was immediately carried out by the PPSU Service of Gambir Village, Central Jakarta.
