Jakarta - Having qualified for the main round of the 2025 Thailand Masters, Indonesian men's singles badminton player Moh Zaki Ubaidillah, who is familiarly called Ubed, has a strong desire to continue to give his best performance.
"I'm happy to be able to play here and qualify for the main round but I don't want to stop, I want to go further. I will try to give my best," said Zaki Ubaidillah in an official PBSI statement, Tuesday.
Ubed secured a ticket to the main round after securing two wins in the qualifying round which took place at Nimibutr Stadium, Bangkok, Tuesday.
Ubed won against Singapore's Jia Wei Joel Koh in a rubber game, then continued by beating Malaysian badminton player Eogene Ewe in two straight games.
The 17-year-old badminton player said he was nervous in his first match because he was just making his debut in the BWF Super 300 tournament.
