Jakarta - Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is pushing for increased cooperation with Indonesia in a number of areas, from economics to energy.
"We must improve the economic, trade, investment, workforce sectors, and we develop them in the education, research, food technology, downstream industry, energy or power sectors," said PM Anwar.
He conveyed this when giving a joint press statement with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Monday.
In addition, PM Anwar said that cooperation in the defense sector is also one of the sectors that will be improved by the two countries.
