Jakarta - Indonesian women's doubles pair Lanny Tria Mayasari/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2025 Thailand Masters after defeating the host team on Thursday.
In the last 16 match held at Nimibutr Stadium, Lanny/Fadia won two straight games over Yataweemin Ketlieng/Passa-orn Phannachet with a score of 21-9, 21-12.
"Earlier, the opponent was a singles player (women), so they played a lot of rallies, especially at the beginning, we followed their pattern. We didn't speed up the tempo. But when we tried to speed up the tempo, it became an advantage to get points," said Lanny, quoted from a brief statement from PP PBSI.
Meanwhile, Fadia, who will play in two sectors in the last eight matches on Friday (31/1), said she will focus on maintaining her physical condition and stamina.
In the mixed doubles sector, Fadia is paired with Dejan Ferdinansyah and will face the home team's representatives Ratchapol Makkasasithorn/Nattamon Laisuan tomorrow.
"The change is definitely in focus and recovery. If usually after playing we immediately prepare for tomorrow, now after playing we immediately recover and focus again to play the next game," said Fadia.
