Jakarta - Indonesian men's doubles pair, Daniel Marthin/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, started their journey at the 2025 Thailand Masters with a win over Indian pair, Viplav Kuvale/Viraj Kuvale, with a score of 21-15, 21-12, in the round of 32 match which took place at the Nimibutr Stadium, Bangkok, Tuesday.
"Alhamdulillah, we were given smoothness and victory today in the first match. Our game was quite good by being able to control the control from start to finish," said Fikri in a written statement.
Despite starting the tournament with positive results, Fikri emphasized that they remain focused on facing each opponent.
"We want to win the title here but we have to be alert. Our opponents also have good quality. We have to maintain focus, recovery, and maximum nutritional intake," he added.
