The Pentagon announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, the 65th batch of equipment the Biden administration will provide from Department of Defense stockpiles to Ukraine since August 2021.
The Pentagon said the estimated package is worth $250 million and will provide Ukraine with additional capabilities to meet its needs for air defense missiles, ammunition for rocket and artillery systems, armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons.
The package includes: RIM-7 missiles, air defense support, Stinger missiles, HIMARS ammunition, 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition, TOW missiles, Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, M113 armored personnel carriers, mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles, small arms ammunition, grenades, naval training boats and equipment, demolition equipment, ammunition, spare parts, ancillary equipment, services, training and transportation.
Reuters reported earlier today that the Pentagon has recently become increasingly concerned about the depletion of weapons and ammunition stockpiles in the US military arsenal as a result of continued military assistance to Ukraine.
Western countries, through the material, military and political support they provide to the Kiev regime, seek to obstruct the goals of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. However, Russia has confirmed on more than one occasion that military operations in Donbass will not stop until all the tasks assigned to them have been achieved.
