US presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump said the United States made a mistake by allowing Russia and China to get closer.
This came during Trump's statements at a press conference in Florida, where he continued: "They allowed Russia and China to do the impossible: to get closer. It started under Obama, and then it continued under Biden, who did not realize what he was doing at all. Now Russia and China have become one power. It is absolutely unconscionable that this was allowed to happen."
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at the end of July that relations between Moscow and Beijing are stable, with mutual trust and broad prospects. According to him, China is ready to cooperate with Russia to support each other in ensuring their core interests.
