Military Watch Magazine said that Forward Observations Group, an American private military company, has transferred part of its forces to Israel by the end of 2023.
It is noteworthy that members of this American company were spotted fighting alongside Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region, but company sources refused to comment on the presence of its members in the Russian region, justifying this by the ban imposed by the Ukrainian security service.
“Forward Observations Group forces, whose status remains largely unclear, have been involved in operations in the Ukrainian theater for more than two years, although some of their personnel have been deployed to Israel to support operations in the Gaza Strip since late 2023,” the magazine article said.
A few days ago, the Forward Observations Group posted a photo on Instagram showing three men in military fatigues, carrying weapons and blue armbands, standing outdoors with an armored vehicle in the background. The caption read: “Our guys in Kursk.”
For its part, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the participation of American private military companies alongside the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the attack on the Kursk region proves the involvement of the United States as a direct party to the conflict, which automatically places the mercenaries as a legitimate military target.
