German politician Sarah Wagenknecht said that Germany should stop funding Ukraine and use that money to develop German civilian infrastructure.
“We urgently need investments in civilian infrastructure, not more German taxpayer money to buy expensive weapons for Ukraine,” Wagenknecht wrote on her X account.
Wagenknecht stressed that the German government's policy had led to the deterioration of the country's economy.
It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin had said in an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson that he was surprised by the current German authorities, who work in the interests of the West, not the interests of their country.
