The company indicated that the Figure 02 robot comes as an advanced version of the Figure 01 robots that it previously revealed, but it was designed to be more advanced, and was subjected to strict testing standards, and equipped with advanced technologies that allow it to perform various tasks.
Compared to previous Figure AI robots, the new robot has an exterior design that makes it closer to the human form, and all cables and equipment are hidden inside its body, which is covered in glossy black plastic.
According to the available information, the new robot has a 50% larger battery compared to Figure 01 robots. This battery was placed near the center of gravity in its structure to be perfectly balanced and have a high ability to maneuver while moving. It was also equipped with special electric motors to give it great power in operation.
This robot has arms that are very similar to human arms, and it can use them to lift objects weighing up to 25 kg.
