Cibeles Square in the Spanish capital, Madrid, witnessed crazy celebrations by the "Matador" fans with the players after winning the Euro 2024 football title.
The Spanish national team managed to climb the podium to win the Euro title after defeating the England national team in the final match of the continental tournament, with a score of 2-1 in Berlin.
On Monday morning, the Spanish national team players toured the streets of the Spanish capital, Madrid, in an open bus, to celebrate with the fans the Euro title that has been absent from the country for more than 12 years.
Thousands of Spanish fans welcomed the players in Cibeles Square in Madrid, to celebrate the European Championship title with the players.
During the ceremony, Alvaro Morata, captain and striker of the Spanish national team, introduced each player to the fans.
Morata said at the start of the celebrations: "We grew up in football watching the golden generation, and we learned from them the winning mentality and belief in our abilities."
The Spanish national team broke the partnership with Germany, which won in 1972, 1980 and 1996, to hold the record for the number of continental championship titles with four titles after winning in 1964, 2008 and 2012.
Spain also broke the record for the most goals scored by a single team in a single edition of the continental tournament, scoring 15 goals in the current edition.
