The draw ceremony for the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Football Cup for the season (2024-2025) took place today, Saturday, and resulted in balanced confrontations.
Al Wasl and Al Wahda were exempted from participating in the first round of the competition, noting that the latter is the title holder of the last edition after defeating Al Ain in the final by a single goal.
Al Wasl Club will not participate in the first round either, as it is the champion of the last edition of the ADNOC Professional League (UAE League).
Al Wasl Club awaits the winner of the match between Bani Yas and Dibba Al Hisn, in the second round of the tournament, while Kalba will play against Al Ain, and Al Jazira against Al Bataeh.
The winners of the last two matches will meet face to face in the quarter-finals, according to the tournament draw.
On the other hand, Al Wahda awaits the winner of the match between Khorfakkan and Sharjah, while Shabab Al Ahli plays against Ajman, and Al Orouba against Al Nasr.
