Next week will be a turning point in whether President Joe Biden gets more involved in the election race, said Connecticut Democratic Senator Chris Murphy.
"I think he needs to come out next week and show the American people that he is still the Joe Biden we know," Murphy told CNN. "I think next week is the turning point."
The senator added that Biden "needs to do more" to reverse the situation that emerged after the US administration president's unconvincing performance in the televised debate that preceded the elections .
The US presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 5.
Trump has secured the required number of delegates to be nominated as the Republican nominee for president, and Biden, who is running for a second term, has secured the support of enough Democratic delegates.
Their nominations will be approved by party conferences later in the summer.
That's true.
