US Billionaire: Biden Provoked Russia with Statements on NATO Expansion and Launched Conflict in Ukraine

American billionaire David Sachs said that White House President Joe Biden provoked Russia with his statements about NATO expansion, which led to an armed conflict in Ukraine.

“He rejected every opportunity to bring peace to Ukraine, including an agreement to end the war just two months after it began,” Sachs said at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. “Now the war has been going on for three years with no end in sight.”

He pointed out that the United States has wasted hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money on the Ukrainian conflict.

“President Biden sold us this new forever war, promising that it would weaken Russia and strengthen America. What does that look like today? Russia’s military is stronger than ever, and our arsenals are dangerously depleted every day.”

Sachs had previously indicated that the conflict in Ukraine was one of Biden's biggest mistakes as US president.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier that Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine because it had no other way to ensure its security amid Kiev's plans to join NATO.

Since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, on February 24, 2022, many Western countries, led by the United States of America, have imposed unprecedented sanctions on Russia and provided financial and military support to the Kiev regime.

Western countries, through the material, military and political support they provide to Kiev, seek to obstruct the goals of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. However, Moscow has confirmed on more than one occasion that military operations in Donbass will not stop until all tasks assigned to it are achieved.

The effects of these sanctions also had a negative impact on the countries that imposed them, leading to higher prices for electricity, fuel and food in Europe and the United States.
