According to Israeli media, this campaign was launched against the backdrop of increasing criticism among party voters of US Democratic President Joe Biden's policy towards Israel and the war against Hamas.

The media indicated that the main campaign slogan will be "Trump - a true friend of Israel", which was designed in the colors of the US election campaign logo.

According to statistics from the Republican Party in Israel, there are about 500,000 American citizens in Israel who have the right to vote, about 85% of whom belong to the Republican Party and have the ability to influence the votes of voters in the "swing states."

For his part, the head of the Republican Party in Israel, attorney Mark Zell, said: “The United States under Biden has chosen to prioritize pro-Palestinian voices and abandon the State of Israel and its security.”

"Today, more than ever, the State of Israel needs a true friend that can be relied upon, even in times of crisis," he added.

He continued: “The Republican Party has always considered the welfare of Israel to be the first American interest and will continue to do so in the future. For that to happen, we must agree to elect the party’s candidate, former President Donald Trump, who stood to the right of Israel throughout his presidency and proved his commitment as Israel’s greatest friend.”

In the previous presidential election in 2020, the percentage of American citizens voting in Israel was 25%, and the Republican Party has set itself a goal of reaching 60% of the vote in Israel this time.

In about two weeks, the party's leadership in Israel will participate in the Republican Party conference in the United States to ratify Trump's nomination and choose the vice president-designate.

The party headquarters also indicates that registration to vote in the elections has already begun in all US states, and calls on all potential voters to register now, in order to exercise their right on Election Day.
