Samsung has announced the new Exynos W1000 processor, its first processor developed using 3nm technology.
Samsung indicated that the new processor contains a Cortex-A78 core, 4 Cortex-A55 cores, and a Mali-G68 MP2 graphics processing unit that supports screens with a resolution of up to (460/460) pixels, and supports an internal storage memory of 32 GB, meaning that it will provide excellent performance for the new smart watches.
According to the information provided by the company, the new processor can run applications 2.7 times faster than the Exynos W930 processors, and consumes less power.
To make the processor small in size, Samsung used many new technologies in its development, such as Fan-Out Panel Level Packaging (FOPLP) technology, and special materials were used in its manufacture.
Samsung is expected to introduce this processor in the new Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra watches that it will announce next week, and it may also use it in many of its new mobile devices.
