React to the UAE President's reception of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar

Activists on the "X" platform interacted with the reception of the UAE President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Ahmed Al-Tayeb, in Abu Dhabi, where he shook hands with him and kissed him on the head.

The UAE President warmly received the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar in Abu Dhabi on Thursday evening, shaking hands with him and kissing him on the head during his reception, according to a video clip published by Al-Azhar on its official account on the “X” platform, which sparked interaction.

The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar praised the efforts of the United Arab Emirates, led by the UAE President, in supporting the nation’s issues and spreading the values ​​of dialogue, tolerance and coexistence.

Commenting on the video, Alaa Mubarak, son of the late Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, wrote: “The man of origin and duty, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, President of the United Arab Emirates, receives with all affection and respect His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif… Whoever loves his Lord, God will make his creation love him.”

Activists also interacted with the video, and one of them wrote: “Honestly, the height of morality, the sons of Sheikh Zayed, the height of humility for our great Sheikh and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.”

Another said: “May God bless them, good offspring, some of them are from others, our master Zayed, may God be pleased with him with his mercy, he did not die, may God protect Abu Khalid, may God bless our master Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb.”

On Saturday, Ahmed El-Tayeb received Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence in the United Arab Emirates, at his residence in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, to enhance joint cooperation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed "enhancing cooperation between the relevant authorities in the United Arab Emirates and both Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Muslim Council of Elders to consolidate common human values ​​and establish coexistence and civilized dialogue between cultures and peoples."
