However, citrus fruits in general and lemons in particular can cause allergies. People with chronic digestive diseases should also be careful. Excessive consumption of lemons can lead to ulcers, colitis, and inflammation of the intestines and stomach. The acidity of lemons also damages tooth enamel.
According to him, citrus fruits and lemons should be consumed in moderation because excess and deficiency of vitamins are harmful in both cases.
