Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban will publish a report on his "peace mission" that took him to Ukraine, Russia, China and the United States this month to find ways to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
The Hungarian Prime Minister's press secretary, Bertalan Havassy, said that "for the sake of clarity and transparency" in his mission, Orban will publish "a summary of his conversations" with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (at the NATO summit in Washington) and with former US President Donald Trump.
He also added that Orban's proposals, which he sent to European Council President Charles Michel, will be published.
"The prime minister hopes that his report and proposals will provide a useful contribution to any initiatives that the President of the European Council can present to EU leaders at the right time and in the right format," Havashi was quoted as saying by MTI news agency.
Last week, the Hungarian prime minister's office reported that Orban had submitted a detailed report on the results of his visits to the EU Council and the European Commission president within hours of their conclusion.
Following his visit to Moscow, Kiev and Beijing, Orban was quoted by media as saying that the next two months would be the "most dramatic" in Ukraine , and that settlement negotiations were likely to begin at the end of the year.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Orban, during his visit to Moscow, presented the main features of his vision for resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
The Hungarian Prime Minister visited Ukraine, Russia, China and the United States from July 2 to 11 as part of what was described as the " Orban Mission for Peace between Russia and Ukraine ."
