Sheikh Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, said that the US administration is lying and hypocritical and is going along with Israel to justify its side.
Naim Qassem added in a speech during the Ashura Council on Monday, “They promoted about a month ago that there is a ceasefire agreement between the Palestinians and Israel, and America sponsored this agreement and promoted it by approving it in the United Nations as a structural agreement on the basis that it be implemented in full, with details and conditions, in order for it to come into effect and stop the shooting.”
The Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah continued, saying: “As soon as Biden announced the agreement, Netanyahu expressed that he was committed to the agreement, but he would resume firing after the agreement was completed. The American administration did not criticize Israel, but rather always says that Israel is positive and the Palestinians are positive, but the American administration is lying and hypocritical and goes along with Israel to justify its side.”
He added, "This question was raised by the American administration to cover up for Israel and to absolve itself of responsibility. It prepared what it had to do and then said later that Israel did not accept! You Americans are responsible for putting pressure on Israel, just as you gave it 400 planes loaded with ammunition and weapons and 60 ships loaded with ammunition and weapons, and supported it with all forms of support and considered removing it from responsibility for the clear genocide of the Palestinian people before the world. You must stop it at its limit to stop the fire."
Naim Qassem stated that "any sane person would accept that the Palestinians would give the first stage and release the prisoners, and then Israel would attack them a second time and finish them off! With the Palestinians, this solution cannot happen. Rather, this is not a solution. It is a solution for Israel to take its prisoners, and a solution for America to show that it was able to achieve an accomplishment, and it is not a solution for the Palestinians because Israel will resume its fight."
He stressed that unless the ceasefire stops, there is no solution, noting that the Palestinians will not surrender even if it takes a long time.
He explained that Hezbollah supports Gaza because it helps those who have rights and supports the oppressed, indicating that what is happening in the region and in Gaza concerns everyone in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and the Arab and Islamic countries.
