American businessman Elon Musk said that it is necessary to create a permanently inhabited lunar base with the requirements for life.
“We need to create a permanent habitable Moon base,” Musk wrote on social network X.
Musk said in April that his company would be able to start transporting humans to the moon within the next five years and to Mars within the next seven to nine years.
In May 2002, Musk founded SpaceX, a spacecraft manufacturing and launch company, and Musk serves as CEO and chief designer.
Among the ideas that Musk aspires to embody is the idea of activating the high-speed transportation system called " Hyperloop".
