He explained that the one eruption had an amplitude of 37 millimeters and the duration of the vibrations reached 663 seconds.
Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki, he said, was clearly visible with 0-1 fog. The crater smoke with weak to moderate pressure was observed to be gray with thick and high intensity.
"The eruption that occurred also had gray smoke," he said.
In addition, the lava flow to the Northeast as far as 4,340 meters is still occurring from the center of the mountain's eruption, so that until now the status of the mountain is still at Level III or Alert.
Therefore, the Center for Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation (PVMBG) recommends that people around Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki, including visitors or tourists, do not carry out any activities within a radius of 3 km from the eruption center of Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki and Mount Lewotobi Perempuan, as well as 4 km in the North-Northeast sectoral direction and 5 km in the Northeast sector from the eruption center of Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki.
The community is also advised to remain calm and follow the direction of the local government (Pemda) and not believe issues that have unclear sources.
The local government, he continued, is also expected to continue to coordinate with the Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki Observation Post in Pululera Village, Wulanggitang District, East Flores Regency, or PVMBG, the Geological Agency in Bandung.
