Meta has announced the launch of its new Llama 3.1 AI model, which will provide users with enhanced data processing capabilities.
According to the information provided by Meta, Llama 3.1 was developed to be an open-source artificial intelligence model, so that programmers and developers can develop its capabilities and features in processing different types of data.
The company's experts pointed out that the new model of artificial intelligence is more advanced than the Llama 3.0 model announced a few months ago, which used more than 400 billion symbols and more than 16,000 Nvidia H100 accelerators in its development.
For his part, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg indicated that “Llama 3.1 outperforms the GPT-4 model, and by the end of this year this model may become the most widely used artificial intelligence model in the world.”
Available information indicates that Meta's smart assistant, powered by Llama artificial intelligence software, which was launched by Meta, has become available to users in 22 countries, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Cameroon. In addition to English, this assistant now supports languages such as French, German, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
