Last June recorded a record temperature in the world

June became the hottest month on record in the world's meteorological history, with an average temperature of 16.7 degrees Celsius.

In Russia, it ranked fourth hottest in the history of local meteorology.

According to the forecasts of the experts of the Hydrometeorological Center, the average temperature in July will be about one degree higher than normal, because starting from July 23, temperatures in the south of the country are expected to drop by 8-10 degrees during the day, that is, the temperature is expected to drop to 29-32 degrees during the day. The drop in temperatures is expected to bring heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms, hail and strong winds in some areas.

The monthly average is the average temperature for a month over a 30-year period (baseline). Currently, according to the recommendations of the World Meteorological Congress, calculations are made based on data for the period 1991-2020, and the deviation is calculated as the difference between the adopted and actual monthly average temperature.
