Forest fires break out in several Algerian states

Forest and grove fires broke out in several Algerian states. Firefighters were able to control some of them, while firefighting teams are still fighting the fires in more than one location.

A statement by the General Directorate of Civil Protection in Algeria stated that a fire broke out in the jungles and woodlands of the village of Al-Qarair in the municipality of Dahouara in the state of Guelma. The extinguishing operation is still ongoing.

Another fire broke out in the forests of the Tigrimt area in Wadi El Khamis in the municipality of Harraza, where the firefighting operation is still ongoing.

In Mila state, a fire broke out in the forests and groves of Badsi village in the municipality of Hamala, where the fire was completely extinguished.
