Meteorologist Roman Vilfand said that the night temperature in Moscow will not fall below 24 degrees Celsius in the coming days, and such weather is dangerous for the body, which does not have time to recover.
“At night, the minimum air temperature before sunrise is 24.5 degrees Celsius. We can confidently call these Egyptian nights in Moscow. This concept is quite appropriate. The weather is very hot and completely abnormal for our region,” the expert added in an interview with a Novosti correspondent.
The expert stressed that such weather carries with it danger, because the human body does not recover its strength well in these high temperatures.
It is noteworthy that the temperature in the Moscow region during this period reached 31-33 degrees, the sun was shining and there was no rain.
Yesterday, Tuesday, a new record was set for the air temperature in the Russian capital: plus 31 - plus 33 degrees Celsius. In 1890, the air temperature in Moscow on July 2 reached more than 31.9 degrees.
The body struggles to recover in such unusually high heat.
