Al-Qassam announces targeting an Israeli jeep in Tal al-Hawa neighborhood,Hebrew media talks about helicopters transporting wounded soldiers

The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced today, Monday, that it had targeted an Israeli army jeep with an explosive device in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.

Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement on its Telegram channel: "We targeted an Israeli army jeep with an explosive device in the chalet area west of Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City."

Israeli media reported a security incident in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, noting that an Israeli army rescue helicopter landed south of the neighborhood.

According to the Hebrew media, 3 wounded Israeli soldiers who were injured in the area were transferred to hospitals inside Israel.

Al-Qassam later announced in a separate statement that its fighters had managed to target a Zionist troop carrier with a “Shawaz 3” explosive device at the 17th roundabout west of Gaza City, and a Zionist D9 bulldozer with a “Shawaz 3” explosive device on Rashid Street west of the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.

In another statement, it added, "The Qassam Brigades targeted a Zionist Merkava 4 tank with a pre-prepared landmine on the advance axis. The Qassam fighters also managed to inflict casualties on a Zionist force after engaging them with light and medium weapons in the industrial area in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, west of Gaza City."
