The Telegram app's creators announced the launch of a new update to the app, which brought with it useful features for many users.
With the new update, the Telegram Stars digital currency appeared in the application, which can be used to pay for digital goods and fees for paid features. Channel owners on the application can also use this currency to pay fees for displaying some marketing posts that contain photos or videos, and they can also convert the profits they receive with this currency into the Toncoin encrypted currency.
With the update, Telegram users also got a new multitasking bar that now appears at the bottom of the user interface, showing applications and tools in miniature, making it easy to open or close them without having to exit the interface.
The update provided the application with a new feature that facilitates the search for posts and stories through keywords accompanied by the # symbol, or what is known as a “hashtag.”
With the new update, Telegram users can publish “stories” and attach a tag indicating the geographical location to them. Once other users click on this tag, they will see posts from other users linked to the same geographical location.
Premium users of the app have been given new features that make it easier for them to adjust the backgrounds of images in posts and control their colors.
