Experts have revealed that constant fatigue is one of the main symptoms of bone cancer.
What are the symptoms of bone cancer?
- Severe pain.
- Swelling.
- Movement problems.
- Feeling tired.
- High temperature (fever).
- Bone fracture.
- Weight loss.
So, any symptoms should be assessed by your GP, Express reports.
Cancer can also spread to the bones from other parts of the body, known as secondary or metastatic bone cancer. Symptoms include:
- Constant pain.
- Back pain, which gets worse despite rest.
- Dehydration, abdominal pain, and constipation due to high levels of calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia).
- Increased risk of infection, shortness of breath, paleness, bruising and bleeding, due to low blood cell levels.
- Weakness in the legs, numbness and paralysis, and loss of bladder and bowel control (urinary incontinence), due to pressure on the spinal cord.
It is worth noting that this does not necessarily mean that you have cancer, but the earlier the disease is detected, the easier it is to treat, and the greater the likelihood of successful treatment.
