Earlier, the American ABC News channel indicated that the Pentagon is trying to downplay the importance of the arrival of Russian warships to Cuba to conduct military exercises .

In turn, "The American Thinker" newspaper considered that "Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a clear signal to the United States by sending Russian naval ships to Cuba."

The newspaper's article indicated that the appearance of Russian ships near the American coast is a response to the White House's permission for Ukraine to use the weapons it provided to attack Russian territory.

The offensive naval group of the Russian Northern Fleet docked in the port of Havana, Cuba, as part of a long voyage carried out by it, accompanied by the Russian nuclear submarine Kazan and the frigate "Admiral Gorshkov" .

 The United States had moved its naval fleet to monitor Russian ships and a nuclear submarine before the start of military exercises in the Caribbean.

According to ABC News sources, two American destroyers and two ships equipped with sonar devices will monitor the Russian nuclear submarine, while another destroyer and an American Coast Guard boat are positioned behind the three Russian ships.
