The “guests of the Most Merciful” will spend the Day of Tarwiyah in Mina, the first leg of the Hajj rituals, which continue over 6 days, following the example of the Prophet Muhammad, who quenched (supplemented) with water before performing the Hajj.
On the day of tarwiyah, the pilgrims repeat: “At your service, O God, at your command, at your command, you have no partner at your command. Indeed, praise and blessings are yours, and dominion is yours, you have no partner.”
They also pray the five daily prayers in Mina shortened without congregation, and spend the night there before heading to Upper Arafa after sunrise on the ninth of Dhu al-Hijjah.

Meanwhile, the Health Affairs of the Ministry of the National Guard has completed equipping its sites in the Holy Sites through clinics and a center for heat exhaustion and sunstroke in both Mina and Arafat. The Red Crescent Authority is participating during this year with more than 2,540 emergency and administrative medical personnel, including doctors, specialists, and ambulance and emergency medicine technicians, distributed among 98 emergency centers at the ports, Hajj Roads, the Holy Capital, the Holy Mosque of Mecca, and the Holy Sites.
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture indicated that more than 2,000 employees are working to provide water services to pilgrims this year, as the daily pumping rate exceeds 750,000 cubic meters in Mecca, and reaches one million cubic meters during peak times on Arafat and Eid.
The Ministry of Transport and Logistics prepared the flexible rubber asphalt initiative in the pedestrian walkways in the Holy Sites for Hajj this year on the road parallel to pedestrian road No. 6 leading to Mount Al-Rahma in Arafat, and worked to implement the initiative in more than one location, including the area surrounding the Namira Mosque in Arafat, with a total area exceeding 25 One thousand square meters, which contributes to reducing the temperature by about 20% compared to other roads.
