The Hebrew Channel 7 said earlier on Monday evening that an Israeli soldier from the Givati Brigade was killed in battles in the Gaza Strip, and it quoted the “Matti Benjamin” settlement council that the soldier, “Yair Lavin, from the Givati Brigade (an Israeli infantry brigade) and a resident of the Givat Harel settlement, Both were killed in a battle in the Gaza Strip.
According to data from the occupation army, the death toll since the beginning of the war reached 650 officers and soldiers, including 294 since the beginning of the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip on October 27, 2023, while the Israeli authorities face local accusations of covering up a much larger toll of deaths and injuries among the ranks of the army.
The devastating Israeli war on Gaza since October 7 has left more than 121,000 Palestinians martyred and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.
Israel continues this war, ignoring a Security Council resolution demanding that it stop it immediately, and orders from the Court of Justice to stop its attack on the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, and to take immediate measures to prevent acts of “genocide” and “improve the humanitarian situation” in the Strip.
Very shocking!
