The governor of the city of Sevastopol in the Crimean peninsula, Mikhail Razvogayev, said on Sunday that 4 people, including two children, were killed in Kiev forces’ attack on the city today, not 5 as previously reported.
Razvojayev wrote on Telegram: “According to updated information, four people have died, including two children.”
He announced that the number of victims of the terrorist attack launched by Ukrainian forces on the city had risen to 144 people, adding: “Medical assistance was provided to 144 people, and 82 of them were transferred to the hospital (55 adults and 27 children).”
The Ministry of Defense announced earlier that Kiev forces attempted to carry out a terrorist attack on Sunday morning, to strike Sevastopol using 5 ATACMS missiles coming from the United States and equipped with cluster warheads. The Russian army shot down 4 of them, while one of them fell after exploding over the city.
The Russian Ministry of Defense accused the United States of involvement in this attack, and stressed that what happened would not go unanswered.
