Russian Security Council: Finland may become a platform for NATO offensive weapons

First Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Rashid Nurgaliyev, said that Finland may soon become a platform for the deployment of additional NATO forces and offensive weapons.

“At the beginning of the year, Finland allowed American and other NATO aircraft to be stationed at Finnish airfields, and also granted the US military unhindered access to military facilities,” Nurgaliyev noted.

He explained: “For nearly eight decades, we have been writing new facts for Soviet-Finnish relations based on mutual understanding and mutually beneficial cooperation, and we have believed in restoring peace and indestructible friendship between our two countries, and yet today, at the instigation of Washington and London, Helsinki is trying with all its might to close Window to Europe.

"Finland supports the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev, is making new brutal plans to destroy the Slavs, and is entering into anti-Russian alliances ," Nurgaliev added .

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Helsinki Pavel Kuznetsov said that Finland had definitely joined the Western "war party" against Russia.
