Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that Russia does not rule out supplying weapons to other countries in response to the supply of weapons to Ukraine, calling on the West to think about where the matter will end.
"Russia reserves the right to supply weapons to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and possibly other regions," Putin said.
The Russian President noted that the West is supplying Ukraine with weapons and says that it no longer controls anything and it does not matter how they are used.
“We can also say: We handed something over to someone, and we no longer have control over it, and let them think about how this will end,” he said at the press conference in Vietnam.
In early June, President Putin announced that Russia might take “asymmetric” steps in response to Western arms supplies to Ukraine .
He said: "We are thinking about the issue that if someone considers it possible to supply weapons to the area of combat operations to direct strikes on our lands and create problems for us, then why do we not have the right to supply weapons of the same type to those areas, where strikes will be directed at the sensitive sites of those countries that...
