During the Petersburg International Economic Forum, some Russian institutions revealed their latest technical products and new robots that work with artificial intelligence.
Among the most prominent Russian technical exhibits that appeared during the forum's activities was a robot that came in the form of a human and was called "Genea."
What caught the attention of forum visitors most about the robot was its distinctive motor capabilities, facial expressions and gestures that it makes, as well as its ability to dialogue with people and provide answers to them about questions related to various topics, relying on artificial intelligence techniques, as many questions can be asked to it to find out the distance. Between the Earth and the Moon, for example, in addition to questions related to space and many other fields.
This robot was developed by the Russian company "Promobot", and the Robo-C robotic platform was used in its development, which is based on Yandex GPT artificial intelligence technologies also developed in Russia.
Among the exhibits that also caught the attention of visitors to the forum was a large Russian robot that can transform from a robot into a vehicle. This robot was assembled from parts of various electric cars and hybrid cars, and its production will begin in the Moscow region in the near future.
The idea of this robot, according to the designers, is to draw attention to Russia's growing capabilities in the field of developing electric and hybrid vehicles.
During the forum's activities, the Russian "SBER" Foundation also revealed a robot in the form of a robotic dog that can be relied upon for many tasks, such as monitoring and guarding facilities, and is equipped with many advanced technologies, including cameras capable of 360-degree photography.
The 27th edition of the Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held between June 5 and 8. The forum is an effective platform for exchanging opinions and experiences between policymakers, officials and representatives of the business sector from various countries of the world. The event discusses the main economic issues and challenges facing Russia, emerging markets and the world as a whole.
