Netanyahu's wife: I do not trust the senior army commanders. They want to turn against my husband

Hebrew media said that Sarah Netanyahu had accused the leaders of the Israeli occupation army of planning to overthrow her husband, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

On Tuesday, the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz quoted Sarah Netanyahu as saying during a meeting last week with a number of families of Israeli prisoners in Gaza that “the army leaders want to carry out a military coup against my husband.”

Sarah Netanyahu added that her lack of confidence “is not in the entire army, but in its senior commanders,” insisting, according to what was reported in the newspaper, that “the army leaders want to carry out a military coup against her husband.”

Sarah is not the only one from the Netanyahu family to accuse the army commanders, as her son Yair preceded her. On June 17, Yair Netanyahu accused the army and the General Security Service (Shin Bet) of “treason” during the confrontation of Hamas attacks near the Gaza Strip on October 7.
