Magnitude 3.2 earthquake hits Algeria's Bejaia

The Research Center for Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics in Algeria recorded an earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale in the state of Bejaia, east of the country.

The residents of Bejaia felt an earthquake at noon on Thursday.

The research center said in a statement: "An earthquake was recorded at 12:30, with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale, in the state of Bejaia."

He also added that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 6 km southeast of Malbo, in the Algerian state of Bejaia.
