The European Football Association (UEFA) is allocating huge financial prizes to the teams participating in the next edition of the European Nations Cup, “Euro 2024”.
UEFA has allocated financial rewards amounting to 331 million euros to be distributed to the teams participating in the tournament. The highest value award will be received by the Euro 2024 champion (28.25 million euros) if he wins all the matches he plays.
Each team participating in the tournament will receive an amount of 9.25 million euros, while the winning team of each match will receive a prize of one million euros, and 500 thousand in the event of a draw in each group stage match.
The European Union will award each team that qualifies for the round of 16 in the continental competition a prize worth 1.5 million euros, and the team that qualifies for the quarter-finals will receive 2.5 million euros, while 4 million euros will be awarded to the teams that reach the semi-finals, and the team that wins the European Nations Cup will receive For an amount of 8 million euros, the runner-up will receive 5 million euros.
