Russian communications expert Natalia Golitsyna provided some tips that help extend the life of the smartphone and protect its components from malfunctions.
Regarding the topic, the expert said: “One of the things that helps protect the phone’s battery from damage is the use of dark operating wallpapers for the screen. This contributes to saving energy and reduces eye strain as well.”
She added: "Dust and dirt that seep into the phone's ports and openings can cause problems and malfunctions in the device. Therefore, the phone must be kept clean and constantly wiped with a soft, damp cloth. It is also necessary to protect the phone from shocks by using high-quality external protective covers."
Golitsyna noted that phone users must close applications after finishing using them, and periodically clean the memory of unnecessary files, as a large accumulation of data on the phone may cause problems in its operation.
The expert stressed the necessity of using original chargers with phones, which provide the devices with the required charging power, so that the phone or its battery are not exposed to damage. She also mentioned that some Android phone users can recalibrate their phone batteries through the “factory reset” process in the device settings.
