Haniyeh: We reject any agreement that does not guarantee a ceasefire and an end to the aggression, and our position will not change at any stage

The head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, said that the movement rejects any agreement that does not guarantee a ceasefire and an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Haniyeh stressed that the movement's position will not change at any stage.

Haniyeh added in a press statement in which he commented on the killing of 11 members of his family, including his sister: “If the criminal enemy thinks that targeting my family and my family will change our positions and our resistance, then he is delusional because every martyr in Gaza and Palestine is from my family and my family.”

He continued: “I repeat again and again and again that the martyrs of my family are the martyrs of our people and the martyrs of our people are also my family. There is no difference between the martyrs and all of them were chosen by the Most Merciful to worship our path towards victory and freedom. The blood of the martyrs demands that we not compromise, that we do not reconcile, that we do not change, that we do not change, that we do not weaken, and that we do not despair. We will continue on our path with determination.”

The Civil Defense Service in the Gaza Strip confirmed that "ten of Ismail Haniyeh's relatives were killed in an Israeli air strike carried out early Tuesday morning."

Our correspondent reported earlier that 14 Palestinians were killed, including  the sister of the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh,  in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City.

So far, 10 members of the Haniyeh family have been identified, including 6 women, while a number of bodies are still under the rubble amid attempts to recover them.
